LAMONT’S MUSIC NOTES SEPTEMBER 8 2019- THIRTY ONE YEARS AGO GUNS N’ ROSES WAS THE WARM UP ACT FOR AEROSMITH AT THE CONCORD PAVILION. GN’R WERE ON THEIR “APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION” TOUR AND GAVE US A TASTE OF THINGS TO COME. AEROSMITH WAS ON THEIR “PERMANENT VACATION” TOUR AND THIS WAS THE GROUP’S FIRST TOUR SINCE COMPLETING DRUG REHAB. GUNS N’ ROSES WERE NOTORIOUS FOR THEIR CONSUMPTION OF DRUGS AT THIS TIME.
