New Orleans native 18 year old Renard Matthews was tragically shot and killed last month. At his funeral, Matthews’ family honored his loved of video games and the Boston Celtics by placing him in a room sitting in a reclining chair while wearing a Kyrie Irving Celtics jersey, sunglasses and a pair of Irving’s socks. He held a PS4 controller in his hands while a game of NBA2K between the Celtics and Warriors was powered up on the screen. Plus, doritos and root beer were placed next to him.
