A field trip to the Holocaust Museum was met with one big obstacle in the road. About 25 students from the Mirus Academy along with their teachers and principal saw the driver of an 18-wheeler lose a giant spool. As you can see from the cell phone footage below the spool cut across lanes of traffic. It’s not the first time this has happened on a Houston freeway recently. On October 25th, Houston drivers dodged a giant spool during lunchtime and on November 12th, drivers maneuvered around two spools near the same area of the freeway. In this case, Houston police say the driver is cooperating and will likely be cited.
