Over the past few months, the soccer world in India has been going nuts for Gourav Mukhi –the youngest goalscorer in Indian Super League history (their top league) at just 16-years-old. But now wonderkid Gourav Mukhi has been suspended for six months and he’s had his club registration revoked. Why?….He’s actually 28-years-old and was lying about his age the whole time. This discovery means he climbed the ranks into the pros by primarily competing against kids. Here’s the crazy part, he was already busted ONCE before in 2015 for competing in an “Under 15” league. So…at age 25 he was competing against 14 year olds. A quick look at a picture of Gourav Mukhi has everybody wondering just how in the world anyone believed that he was only 16-years-old…. The dude has a mustache as thick as a Sam Elliott.
