The Vegas Golden Knights were up 3-0 and had completely sucked the life out of San Jose’s crowd, but a major cross-checking penalty on the Knights’ Cody Eakin sent the San Jose Sharks forward Joe Pavelski down to the ice. This led the Knights to be down a man for five long minutes. Pavelski’s injury kicked off 28 minutes of heart-stopping Game 7 hockey. The San Jose Sharks rallied behind their fallen Captain to make an epic comeback and win the game, 5-4 and advanced to the second round.
One of our listeners was at the San Jose Sharks game last night and sent us this photo of Joe Pavelski laying on the ice.
