LED ZEPPELIN GOT TOGETHER FOR A ONE OFF REUNION WITH JOHN BONHAM’S SON JASON ON DRUMS. IT WAS A TRIBUTE CONCERT FOR THE LATE MUSIC EXECUTIVE AHMET ERTEGUN. IT WAS THE FIRST FULL LENGTH CONCERT FOR LED ZEPPELIN SINCE THE DEATH OF DRUMMER JOHN BONHAM IN 1980.
ACCORDING TO GUINNESS WORLD BOOK OF RECORDS, THE CONCERT HOLDS THE RECORD FOR THE ‘HIGHEST DEMAND FOR TICKETS FOR 1 CONCERT”. THERE WERE 20 MILLION REQUESTS FOR TICKETS ONLINE.
THE CONCERT RESULTED IN THE ALBUM AND DVD “CELEBRATION DAY”.
