LED ZEP’S LAST STUDIO ALBUM

LAMONT’S MUSIC NOTES-JAN 7, 2020-ON THIS DATE 40 YEARS AGO LED ZEPPELIN’S ‘IN THROUGH THE OUT DOOR’ WAS CERTIFIED PLATINUM. THIS WOULD BE THE FINAL ZEPPELIN STUDIO ALBUM RELEASE BEFORE THE PASSING OF DRUMMER JOHN BONHAM. THE GROUP DISBANDED SHORTLY THEREAFTER. THE ALBUM ITSELF FEATURED UNIQUE MARKETING, WITH A PLAIN BROWN WRAPPER ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE RECORD. THE ACTUAL ALBUM JACKET FEATURED 6 DIFFERENT SLEEVES IN BLACK AND WHITE. IF YOU TOOK WATER TO THE SLEEVE IT WOULD PERMANENTLY GIVE YOU A COLORED PHOTO. HERE’S ZEPPELIN WITH A FANTASTIC LIVE VERSION OF THE FIRST SONG ON THE ALBUM. HERE’S ‘IN THE EVENING’
