AFTER TAKING A BREAK IN 1995 THE BAND HOLED UP AT A MANSION IN SANTA BARBARA WHERE THEY RECORDED THE ALBUM. ‘TINY MUSIC’ PRODUCED 3 HIT SINGLES ON THE ROCK CHARTS, BUT SALES OF THE ALBUM STALLED WHEN STP CANCELLED A GOOD PORTION OF THEIR TOUR TO ENABLE SCOTT WEILAND TO GO TO REHAB. EVEN WITH THE SETBACK IN TOURING, THE ALBUM SOLD 2 MILLION COPIES (STILL SHORT OF THE OTHER 2 ALBUMS BUT IMPRESSIVE COMMERCIALLY NONETHELESS).
