WAVE POOL IN CHINA ACCIDENTALLY CREATES FAKE TSUNAMI INJURING 44 PEOPLE

A favorite attraction at many water parks is the wave pool, a large body of water that releases small artificial waves that mimic the ocean. However, the fun times at the wave pool at one water park in China came to a quick end when it released an enormous tsunami on all the swimmers. Forty four swimmers were injured with injuries ranging from bruises to fractured ribs. It was all caught on camera and posted to Twitter with the caption, “Water world Tsunami injuring many in Yanbian, Manchuria. The operator got drunk and turned the wave magnitude to maximum level.” It actually happened at the Yulong Shuiyan Water Amusement Park in Longjing, near the border with North Korea. The clip shows the giant wave throwing swimmers and people floating in tubes.
