An Alberta man found a creative way to showcase his local frigid temperatures by putting out a plate of pasta to freeze. Jonathan Scholes of Calgary said it only took about 10 to 15 minutes for the plate of boiling-hot noodles to freeze solid with a fork in mid-lift. He said the temperature outside was about -22 degrees when he created the unusual winter weather sculpture.

DESPITE THE FACT THAT JOE PERRY PLAYED SUCH AND IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE MAKING OF THE ALBUM, PERRY HAS SAID:
“Just Push Play is my least favorite (album). When we recorded it there was never a point where all five members were in the room at the same time and Aerosmith’s major strength is playing together. It was a learning experience for me: it showed me how not to make an Aerosmith record”.

LAMONT’S MUSIC NOTES-MARCH 5, 2019…TODAY JOHN FRUSCIANTE TURNS 49. FRUSCIANTE IS BEST KNOWN AS THE FORMER LEAD GUITARIST OF THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, FROM 1988-1992, AND A SECOND STINT FROM 1998-2009. HE RECORDED 5 STUDIO ALBUMS WITH THE BAND.
HE JOINED THE ALBUM IN 1989 AT THE AGE OF 18, AND FIRST APPEARED ON THE ALBUM ‘MOTHER’S MILK’. THE GROUP’S FOLLOW-UP ALBUM ‘BLOOD SUGAR SEX MAGIK’ WAS A BREAKTHROUGH SUCCESS. IT WAS A MONSTER RECORD. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS, IT WAS SO SUCCESSFUL, FRUSCIANTE COULDN’T DEAL WITH THE POPULARITY, AND QUIT IN 1992.
HE BECAME A RECLUSE AND ENTERED A LONG PERIOD OF DRUG ADDICTION. IN 1998 HE COMPLETED DRUG REHAB AND REJOINED THE RHCP. THE FIRST ALBUM OUT OF THE GATES THIS TIME WAS ‘CALIFORNICATION’ AND IT SOLD OVER 16 MILLION COPIES.
IN 2006, FRUSCIANTE AND THE PEPPERS RELEASED ‘STADIUM ARCADIUM’. THIS WOULD BE HIS THE 5TH AND FINAL ALBUM WITH THE PEPPERS, AS ANNOUNCED ONCE AGAIN HE WAS PARTING WAYS WITH THE GROUP.
