Ozzy Osbourne has been hospitalized due to flu complications, according to his wife, Sharon Osbourne. She posted the tweet below yesterday, addressing fan concerns:
As some of you may have heard, Ozzy was admitted to hospital following some complications from the flu. His doctors feel this is the best way to get him on a quicker road to recovery. Thanks to everyone for their concern and love.

In October, the 70-year-old rock legend picked up a staph infection in his hand and was forced to cancel the rest his US tour dates in 2018. Ozzy was expected to pick the tour back up early this year, but due to the status of his health, he will not continue the tour. In a statement released on Ozzy.com last week, the remainder of his “No More Tours 2” shows, all of which were scheduled across the UK and Europe, has been postponed.

Ozzy Osbourne’s ‘No More Tours 2’ UK And European Tour Leg Postponed Due To Illness
DATES TO BE RESCHEDULED LATER THIS YEAR
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter OZZY OSBOURNE has been forced to postpone the entire UK and European leg of his “NO MORE TOURS 2” tour on doctors’ orders.
This follows yesterday’s (January 28) announcement that OSBOURNE was postponing the first four dates of the tour because of the flu. After seeing his physician again, OSBOURNE has been diagnosed with a severe upper-respiratory infection which the doctor feels could develop into pneumonia given the physicality of the live performances and an extensive travel schedule throughout Europe in harsh winter conditions.
Statement from Ozzy
“I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour. It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to shit.
First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis. I want to apologize to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew and to Judas Priest for letting you all down. However, I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed. It’s being rescheduled right now to start in September. Again, I apologize to everyone. God Bless. Love you all, Ozzy.”

Good news Green Day fans, the band is selling their old instruments to give you the opportunity to own some of their gear.
2019 is a busy year for Green Day, besides celebrating the 25th anniversary of their legendary album “Dookie”, the band has joined forces with instrument marketplace Reverb.com to sell more than 100 pieces of gear used during their career.
Billie Joe Armstrong is offering up nearly 50 of his guitars. Drummer Tré Cool is selling five drum kits and a dozen snare drums. The majority of these instruments have either been played live or during recording sessions.
Billie Joe Armstrong said:
“Every guitar has its own character. Each one reflects who you are – the kind of songwriter you are, the kind of guitar player that you are. Used guitars, in particular, come with a history to them. I love the character you can see looking at a fretboard that’s been used. After 30 years of collecting odds and ends and really good stuff, I have to sell some of it off.”
Tre Cool said:
“If you hoard the right shit long enough, they call you a collector. So I’m selling off just a wee bit of the collection. I’m not doing it any justice sitting around when someone could be using this stuff. I haven’t really sold anything ever – this is the first time. My psychiatrist said I have to do this.
“In all seriousness, I hope whoever buys this stuff gets some enjoyment out of it… rocking it on their stage or putting it in their studio. I really hope they just don’t sit around and get dusty.”
Here is a list of items up for sale:
1. A rare 1958 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top Guitar – one of Armstrong’s favourites to play live
2. A 1950s Gibson ES-140T Electric Guitar that Billie Joe used on the tour bus throughout the American Idiot tour.
3. The 2011 TV Yellow Gibson Les Paul Junior Guitar that Armstrong smashed during the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival (don’t worry, it’s been repaired and is playable).
4. A 1950s Gibson ES-125 TCD Electric Guitar used live on 21st Century Breakdown, Uno, Dos, Tré!, and Revolution Radio tours.
5. An OCDP Silver Sparkle Drum Kit that Cool set on fire during the ‘Pop Disaster’ tour in 2002. It’s not been restored so retains all the ash and soot.
6. An Ayotte Green Stain Maple Drum Kit that was used live throughout the Insomniac tour in 1995.
7. A brand new Slingerland Spitfire Tré Cool Signature Drum Kit from the late ’90s/early ’00s. Cool kept several of these kits on hand then but this kit “is probably the only one left in existence” (he burned the rest).
