A group of funeral directors in South Africa say they will sue a self-styled prophet who claims to have resurrected a dead man, through the power of Jesus.
In the video below, Pastor Alph Lukau is seen shouting “rise up” to a “dead” man lying down in a coffin who then jerks upright to cheers from worshippers.
The funeral companies say they were manipulated by Alleluia Ministries into being involved.
The video has sparked an international debate on fake pastors and had been widely condemned by established religious groups. Many see these pastors as simply using religion to maintain power over people.

Last In Line formed in 2012 by former members of the original lineup of Dio. The band’s name comes from the 1984 Dio album “The Last In Line.” Following the death of Dio frontman Ronnie James Dio in 2010, the original lineup of drummer Vinny Appice, bassist Jimmy Bain, guitarist Vivian Campbell, and keyboardist Claude Schnell reunited along with vocalist Andrew Freeman to perform the Dio songs they originally recorded. The band released a studio album of original material without Schnell titled “Heavy Crown” in February 2016.

Queen and Adam Lambert opened up the 91st annual with a performance of “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions.” Queen having a presence at the Oscars makes sense considering the band’s biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” had five nominations at this year’s award show.
As you can see in the video above, Guitarist Brian May and Drummer Roger Taylor kick into “We Will Rock You” and as the current rises Brian May comes running out, followed by Adam Lambert, who has been singing with the band since 2011.
You can see Brian May smile from ear to ear in joy as he watches Hollywood cheer him on. Towards the end of their performance a large image of former singer Freddie Mercury appears behind the band, a beautiful way to remember the rock and roll icon.
Queen + Adam Lambert will be at the SAP Center in San Jose on Sunday, July 14th.
